This wine is sourced from newer vineyard plantings established since 2017. The grapes are destemmed and whole berry, fermented in open-top fermenters with spontaneous fermentation. A mix of gentle pump-overs and punchdowns is employed to extract flavor. After fermentation, the wine is basket pressed and aged for 11 months in 228 litre barrels, with 20% new oak. It then spends one month in stainless steel before bottling, followed by 9 months in the bottle prior to release.
Expect red berries, orange and elegant floral musk on the nose, while the palate is understated with good summer berry fruit definition, fresh acidity and fine tannins with a gently savoury finish.

Craig is committed to absolute site expression and a minimalist approach. Each vineyard on their farm is registered as a Single Vineyard and the wines are named after the vineyards.
Being terroir driven, the focus is on 100% single varietal wine: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
