This Pinot Noir embodies the essence of the entire estate. The fine-textured granite soil contributes to a delicately structured wine, capturing the intensity of Pinot Noir at its finest: seductive, elegantly crafted, and persistently lingering. Layered and dense with fruit characteristics of cherry, raspberry, blackberry, and Turkish delight. The fresh, dewy lift and full sweet violets on the nose conveys clarity. The broad, chewy texture engulfs the palate; framed by the thicker tannins and lingering soft spices of cinnamon, clove and fennel in the finish.

The Family Vineyards Pinot Noir serves as the quintessential expression of the estate, having evolved from the most esteemed and refined vineyard sites. Over the years, every aspect of these vineyards has been meticulously refined to showcase their authenticity, reflecting a deep connection to the land.
Each vineyard possesses unique characteristics, offering valuable insights into the complexity, texture, and subtle variations found in the wines. Positioned mid-slope in duplex soil with balanced vigor, the vineyards feature expanses of iron-rich clay that retain sufficient water and nutrients, protecting the vines from stress. At the highest point near the winery, the clay is shallow with larger gravel fragments, resulting in wines with concentrated dark fruit and a robust backbone. Descending from these vineyards, the soil becomes deeper and finer, encouraging roots to seek out the clay, leading to wines that express more red fruit and opulence.
