This wine is a blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% Merlot from selected vineyards around the Stellenbosch region.
This wine has a stunning garnet colour with a bright ruby-red rim. The nose has an abundance of dark briary fruits with hints of tobacco spice and cassis. The palate is full and rich with cassis and blackberry fruits. The mid-palate is rich and textured leading to a dry savoury finish.

Miles Mossop introduction range are the Introduction to his story and his wines.
Vinified from grapes sourced from vineyards with the intention of producing wines which are fruit forward and fresh, yet maintaining complexity and a sense of place. These wines are made with minimal intervention and without the use of new wood to retain the intrinsic varietal characters and terroir.
Miles joined Tokara as a young winemaker in 2000, after stints in Clare Valley, Napa Valley, Sicily and a few harvests with some of SA’s leading winemakers. He took this estate from infant to one of South Africa’s top wine brands in a rather short time.
Miles Mossop Wines already started in 2004, whilst still full time at Tokara. He left Tokara in 2018 after 19 very successful harvests, to focus 100% on his own brand.
