R412.00
Dark bramble fruit on the nose with brooding spice. The tannins are firm carried by dark, inky fruit and fresh acidity. This wine has incredible intensity and will shows its true potential in 2027 with some bottle age. This would be best enjoyed with a rare Bavette steak, twice cooked fries and a green pepper corn sauce.

The grapes were rigourously sorted by hand at bunch level before destemming 85% of this fruit to open top fermenters. 15% of this fruit remained whole bunch. The grapes were foot stomped and then punched down gently 3 times per day, for 7 days, before being pressed off to tank. The wine was then racked to old french oak barrels for maturation and malo lactic fermentation. This wine was gently filtered before bottling. Only two barrels were made.
