South Africa’s own grape, Pinotage, has many styles, with the slightly lighter styles gaining popularity of late. At Wine Menu we gravitate towards the serious, yet elegant styles. Where the true character of Pinotage is not lost in the pursuit of drinkability.

Danie Steytler managed to bring these worlds together very successfully. Warm spiced plums, black pepper and aniseed comes together in a fresh yet full mouthfeel. The wine has a fine tannin grip with a fresh long finish. This is definitely a style of Pinotage that will please many.

This wine is dominated by red fruits with classic cherry and mulberry notes. With a vibrant palate and sweet tannins, this wine has a plush and bright finish.
