Julien and Sophie Schaal, a talented French couple, bring their expertise to this Chardonnay.

The grapes for this wine was sourced from vineyards on the highest slopes of Paul Cluver in Elgin. This vineyard produces small concentrated berries, packed with flavour.

Grapes are hand harvested and whole bunch pressed before fermentation in mostly older oak, with 25% new barrels. The result is a wine displaying gentle tropical fruit and vanilla notes ending with a beautifully textured mouthfeel.
