100% Blaufränkisch. A marriage of tradition and harmony, this Burgenland flagship wine blends the essence of both sides of Lake Neusiedl – east and west. The indigenous variety thrives on Leitha Mountains’ limestone and slate soils as well as Parndorfer Platte’s sandy-loamy southern slopes.
Dark berry fruit, herb garden spice, refined tannins, and invigorating acidity define its character. Managed meticulously through organic-biological practices, the grapes are hand-picked in early to mid-September, spontaneously fermented, and macerated for two weeks in wooden vats and steel tanks. Aged for 30 months in wooden vats and used 500l oak barrels.
