Domaine Clape’s Cornas wines exhibit a captivating array of flavours, including red and black fruits, game, leather, purple flowers, and olives, making them a true regional classic. The estate’s eight hectares of terraced vineyards are strategically located in the Rhone Valley, where the granitic soils contribute to the distinctive character of the wines. Each vineyard plot is treated individually, undergoing separate vinification processes and aging for an extended period of 20 months in old oak barrels. After this meticulous aging, the wines are artfully blended to create different cuvées. The Renaissance cuvée showcases the expression of the youngest vines, while the classic Cornas blend encompasses the remarkable complexity and depth of the oldest vines.
