John and Tasha Seccombe are the team behind Thorne & Daughters wines. Botrivier claims John as one of their own, as he makes all his wines in the Gabrielskloof cellar, although he sources grapes from all over the Cape Winelands. His approach to winemaking is simple, honest and gentle, and he is looking to make wines that tell a story of the Cape of Good Hope. In a little over 10 years, John has ensured his rightful spot in the “Hall of Fame” of SA winemakers, and was introduced as a member of the prestigious Cape Winemakers Guild recently.

Join us as John leads us through his new vintages in person. These wines have a huge following and some sell out very soon after release. Those who attend the tasting will have the first chance to secure a few bottles for the cellar.
