Join us this Saturday as we sip on some South African history.
Leeuwenkuil means Lions Lair and this name was attributed to the farm as homage to the Cape Lions that roamed these lands a very long time ago. Here we already see that we are not dealing with a family farm that is vaguely new to the game of growing grapes and winemaking in Swartland. On the contrary, this farm can be considered to be a part of Swartland’s Heritage. The Dreyer’s own Leeuwenkuil and have been custodians of this farm since 1693. Their family, team, history and institutional knowledge on the area are but a few reasons that we are able to enjoy the incredible quality that comes out of their wines.
We will be tasting:
Leeuwenkuil Rose 2022
Leeuwenkuil Reserve White 2020
Leeuwenkuil Reserve Red 2019
Leeuwenkuil Heritage Syrah 2018
