The wines by Duncan Savage have been gaining a following over the past decade, since starting the journey of an own brand in 2011. In 2016 Duncan moved into his own cellar in the less than traditional Salt River area of Cape Town. A true urban cellar and completely befitting Duncan’s personality and style of making things work and not sticking to the norm.

Grapes for the different wines are sourced from all over the Cape, with a particular focus on maritime influence and granite soils. His hunt for grapes takes him as far North as Piekenierskloof and East to Malgas. The dedication to finding vineyards he wants to work with has resulted in a rather astonishing annual km reading.

Duncan’s new vintages are officially releasing on Thursday 22 August, so you’ll be among the first to try these wines in Johannesburg. That’s something to celebrate!
