On this Saturday we will be tasting the delicious wines from Keermont Vineyards. This specialised winery is located in the amphitheater between the Helderberg and Stellenbosch mountain ranges where the vineyards sit on some very spectacular sites that lie between 250 and 400 metres above sea level. Only grapes from the estate are used to make their wines and their main focus is on the vineyards using minimal intervention when it comes to farming and a respectful approach to create balance in the vineyards. This results in pure and elegant wines that are a true reflection of the sites that they come from.
We will be tasting:
Keermont Terasse 2021 – A blend of Chenin blanc, Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier – 5 stars PLATTER’S GUIDE
Keermont Merlot 2020 – 90 pts TIM ATKIN (MW)
