Winshaw Family Vineyards, currentlly in the hands of brothers JP and Pierre, represents a very important part of the South African wine industry. Their great-grandfather, Dr. William Charles Winshaw, started the Stellenbosch Farmers’ Winery, and their grandfather, Bill Winshaw, continued the growth of this company. This family farm is situated at Klein Welmoed on the south-western outskirts of Stellenbosch, where they embrace nature with their pasture-reared beef, lamb and chickens.

The brothers called in the help of good friend Lukas Van Loggerenberg as winemaker, to take the family range of wines under his wing. A match made in heaven, with incredible vineyards and smart winemaking, we now have wines that are truly world class at rather conservative prices.

We welcome JP Winshaw to lead us through the new vintages of the Winshaw Family Vineyards, as well as a peek into their lovely Usana wines.
