2022 marks another exceptional vintage for the Boekenhoutskloof team. Tim Atkin scored Semillon 2022 a brilliant 98, Syrah 96 and the two Cabernet Sauvignons 95 each. Remarkable consistency if one look at the brilliant accolades of recent years. Voted “Winery of the Year” in the Platters Wine Guide for 2020, Gottfried Mocke was named winemaker of the year by Tim Atkin in 2020, and in 2022 received 99 points for the Semillon 2020 and thus the White Wine of the Year. And that’s just the last 4 years.

To choose a favourite is impossible and we’re sure most people would love to get their hands on all these wines. So we made it a little more special by adding the Porseleinberg Syrah 2022, made by Callie Louw in the Swartland and scoring 99 points in the Tim Atkin report of 2024 and joint Red Wine of the Year. Now that’s a mix one cannot ignore.
