This is a beautiful Grenache Noir from a single vineyard in Pielenierskloof. 25% of the grapes go through whole bunch fermentation after which the wine is matured in older 500L barrels for 10 Months.
This wine has beautiful red fruits and berries on the nose, red cherries, orange rind and ginger snap biscuits. On the palate it is crunchy, but not too fruity, there is a intense concentration of flavour and the beautiful texture and grip on the palate balances the lightness and balanced acidity that the wine presents.

Description
These grapes are from a Dryland bush vine vineyard in Piekenierskloof. Light extraction in the cellar. No yeast, acid, or enzymes were added. The maiden vintage of this wine was made in honor of the birth of my first-born daughter, Lua Ilse, born in 2019.
